China’s coal exports fall in October

According to data released by China's customs, the country's coal exports totaled 400,000 tons in October, falling by 9.1% year on year and decreasing by 18.4% from a month ago.

The country's export revenues generated by coal totaled US$55.828 million, decreasing by 18.5% year on year and falling by 9.8% from a month ago.

Meanwhile, the coal export prices averaged at US$139.57/ton, decreasing by 10.4% year on year but rising by 10.5% from the previous month.

In the January-October period, China's coal exports amounted to 6.31 million tons, slumping by 20% year on year.
